Katherine Mansfield - Autumn Song

I thought I'd start out with a few light lines of an autumn poem by Katherine Mansfield. Sometimes poetry can be so heavy, and there are times when I enjoy reading those types of poems, but lately during more stressful times, I find myself gravitating to joyful and fun words like the following:

Autumn Song
Katherine Mansfield

Now's the time when children's noses
All become as red as roses
And the colour of their faces
Makes me think of orchard places

Katherine Mansfield
Katherine Mansfield was born
in 1888 and died in 1923.
She was raised in colonial New Zealand and
moved to the United Kingdom at age 19.  She was friends with such authors as D.H. Lawrence and Virginia Woolf.  She wrote short fiction as well as poetry.  Unfortunately, her life ended early when she contracted tuberculosis but her words live on.
